Memory Monday

I was going threw some old pictures, and I was thinking back to where we were when we actually got Shiloh. At the time we were living in Tucson, Arizona. I can't even imagine what it would be like if we were still living there! Missing out on the Snow, and all of the winter fun we have with the dogs here! Heck, there would be no Shelby if we never would have moved back home to Michigan!

It has been almost 8 years since we moved back to Northern Michigan. We lived in Arizona for two years. I do not regret it, because we never would have gotten our Shiloh if we wouldn't have lived out there. But I tell you what, we are SO much happier here in Northern Michigan!

Looking at these pictures brings back so many memories! Pulling needles out of Shiloh's feet, Picking Pickers out of her ears, Not being able to walk down the street with her because the pavement was to hot. . yeah. . we don't miss Arizona at all!

  1. Congrats on the new camera. I am totally jelly. I could use some help with that scary bag for sure and a little backup from Shiloh would be great to help me get over the trauma.

  2. Wooos! Arizona kind of reminds me of someplace, oh yeah, here! without the needles....

  3. We're happy for the pups that you moved to Michigan too! Sibes need snow. :-)

  4. My khousin Abby to got to meet SNOW fur the furst time this weekend!

She lives in Phoenis but they went up to Prescott fur the weekend and it SNOWED!

Thanks fur sharing your AZ memories!

  5. hey Shiloh and Shelby,

I heard Arizona is very pretty, but I think I would melt. Glad your humans lived there long enough to find you Shiloh! My human went to Alpena in grade school for a field trip. She said Northern Michigan is very pretty and very snowy, so you dogs are living in a great place. No fear of you burning your feet on walks now!

  6. Arizona is beautiful, and I guess if the human grew up there from a kid, they would know more about the area, and where to go and tips and such, but ours only lived there 2 years. . . before they got Shiloh. . So they didn't know much of anything! They were used to lakes and trees of Michigan!

  7. Great pics! I think I would like to give up the snow for a few years and move some place warm....who knows then I might appreciate the snow....not now though....long winter!

  8. It took us a LONG time to get used to living "down south" after living in the northeast(me) and Northern Michigan (husband).

    AZ is gorgeous tho!

  9. I laughed when I saw your post because just earlier today we were picking cactus spikes off Linguini.
